Shinrin Yoku Walks
Get the team together and slow things down with a shinrin yoku walk, also known as "forest bathing". This guided walk is intended to invigorate the senses and assist all members of the team to de-stress and build a better relationship to themselves, each other and the natural world. The guide will meet you at a predetermined open space where we begin the session with a brief check-in. From there, we find a nearby trail to wander out onto the land for a mindful hike. We pause along the way at various milestones to check in with the senses to deepen connection into yourself and the wild lands. People find this peaceful and nourishing, allowing the defenses and stresses of everyday life to soften. From there the journey is open, guided by what naturally arises in your psyche and what may greet us on the land. Perhaps a Red Tail Hawk flying overhead has something to tell you or stunning vista of the Monterey Bay stops you in your tracks. Each have their messages in the conversation. Upon return from our hike, the day ends with a check-out, where you will be supported to clarify insights from the day and generate concrete steps to incorporate into your everyday life. People are sent off feeling refreshed, satisfied, fulfilled from the day, with new skillsets to incorporate nature connection into their overall health and well-being.


Santa Cruz Sailing Adventure
Join the hands-on sailing adventure located in Santa Cruz in partnership with Lighthall Charters. This half day or full day facilitation program will begin and end at Mariners Park in the Santa Cruz Harbor. Morning facilitation and group activities will prepare team members for the sailing adventure. The group breaks into smaller groups of 6 and board comfortable Catalina Yachts boats provided by Lighthall Charters, where the US Coast Guard certified Captain will teach the group how to sail. The crew can sail down to Capitola, where we can enjoy lunch & head back to Santa Cruz via the kelp forest and visit the sea otters, whales, dolphin and other spectacular marine life. For added excitement and deepen team building, this sailing adventure can evolve into either a team race-off or treasure hunt. Upon returning and parting way with the crew at Lighthall Charters, the day ends with debriefing, making meaning from experiences and strategies to incorporate the new team building cohesion back into the office.
